Common use

Snovitra Soft is a chewable tablet designed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains Vardenafil, a potent phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor that enhances blood flow to the penis, facilitating a firm and lasting erection during sexual arousal. The soft chewable form allows for quicker absorption compared to standard tablets, making it a convenient option for those who prefer not to swallow pills.

Dosage and direction

The recommended dosage of Snovitra Soft is one chewable tablet taken approximately 15 to 30 minutes before sexual activity. It should not be taken more than once within 24 hours. The tablet can be chewed or dissolved in the mouth for faster absorption.
It’s advised to avoid heavy meals or excessive alcohol before taking it, as they may delay its effect. Always follow the prescribed dosage and consult your doctor for personalized advice.

Precautions

Patients with heart problems, stroke, liver or kidney disease, blood cell disorders, eye conditions, bleeding issues, or penile deformities should exercise caution when taking Verdenafil.
There should also be caution in patients having a history of priapism or conditions that may predispose them to priapism such as sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma, or leukaemia.

Contraindications

Individuals who are allergic to vardenafil or any of the tablet’s components should not use Snovitra Soft. Allergic reactions can be severe and may include rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, or difficulty breathing.

Possible side effect

Common Side Effects: Headache; Flushing; Nasal congestion; Upset stomach; Back pain or muscle aches; Dry mouth.
Serious Side Effects: Prolonged erection; Severe dizziness or fainting; Sudden hearing loss; Chest pain or irregular heartbeat; Shortness of breath.

Drug interaction

Verdenafil may interact with nitrates and nitric oxide donors (such as isosorbide dinitrate and nitroglycerin), alpha-blockers (like doxazosin and tamsulosin), antifungal medicines (like ketoconazole and itraconazole), HIV protease inhibitors (like ritonavir, indinavir) and seizure medications (like carbamazepine and phenytoin).

Missed dose

If you forget to take your dose of Snovitra Soft, take it as soon as you remember. Avoid taking double doses to make up for the missed one.

Overdose

An overdose of Snovitra Soft can lead to serious side effects such as back pain, vision changes, and priapism. If you experience these symptoms, it's crucial to seek immediate medical attention.
