Common use
Combimist-L Inhaler is used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (a lung disorder in which the flow of air to the lungs is blocked). It aids in the relaxation of the muscles of the airways, making breathing easier. It alleviates coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath.
Dosage and direction
Follow your doctor's instructions and read the label before using Combimist-L Inhaler. The inhaler should be shaken. Press down on the inhaler one time to release the drug while inhaling in through your mouth, then hold your breath for 10 seconds. Repeat till you've taken the recommended number of puffs from the doctor. After that, spit out the water and rinse your mouth completely.
Precautions
Do not drive, operate machinery, or do other activities that require mental alertness or coordination until you know how this medication affects you.
Caution is advised in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Caution is advised in patients with glaucoma (an eye condition), a blockage in the urinary bladder, seizures, hyperthyroidism, high blood pressure, an irregular heartbeat, diabetes, heart, liver, and kidney disease.
Contraindications
Combimist L Inhaler contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Ipratropium and Levosalbutamol or Atropine and its derivatives.

The majority of side effects are minor and will go away as your body adjusts to the medicine. If they don't go away or you're concerned about them, see your doctor.
Adverse effects of Combimist-L Inhaler: Dryness in mouth; Breathlessness; Cough; Tremor; Headache; Palpitations; Muscle cramp.
Drug interaction
Avoid taking antihypertensives (Atenolol, Labetalol, and Metoprolol), antidepressants (Amitriptyline, Amoxapine, Clomipramine, Isocarboxazid and Phenelzine), antiarrhythmics (Digoxin), adrenergic agonists (Epinephrine), diuretics, and other bronchodilators (Metaproterenol). These medications may alter the safety and effectiveness of Combimist L Inhaler.
Missed dose
If you miss a dose of Combimist L Inhaler, take it as soon as you remember. But, if the next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing regime.
Overdose
Overdose can cause hypertension, increased heart rate, metabolic acidosis, hypokalemia and exaggeration of the common side effects, which need to be managed as an emergency in a hospital setting. Therefore, strict adherence to the prescribed dose is essential.
Storage
Store Combimist L Inhaler in a dry place, below 30°C. Protect it from direct sunlight. Don't puncture, break, or burn the canister, even when it seems empty. Keep the inhaler out of children's reach. Always use it before its expiry date.
