Common use
Bonhans tablets are a veterinary nutritional supplement for dogs used to support and strengthen their joints and cartilage. The tablets contain ingredients such as glucosamine hydrochloride, chondroitin sulfate, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), zinc oxide, manganese gluconate, and copper gluconate, which work synergistically to support joint health and improve mobility.
Dosage and direction
To administer, they are typically given orally with food. While general guidelines are available, it is essential to always follow your veterinarian's specific instructions regarding usage. 5 – 10kg dogs: 1/2 – 1 tablet daily; 11- 45kg dogs: 1 tablet daily; over 45kg dogs: 2 tablet daily.
Precautions
Always consult your veterinarian before use, especially if your dog has pre-existing health conditions or is on other medications.
The safe use of Bonhans in pregnant or lactating (nursing) dogs has not been proven. Use in these cases should only occur if the potential benefits outweigh the risks, as determined by a vet.
Use with caution in animals with a history of the following conditions: Clotting or bleeding disorders; Diabetes; Metabolic disorders associated with hyperglycemia; Urinary tract stones.
Contraindications
Do not administer Bonhans tablets to dogs with a known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the product's components (which include glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, and MSM); Allergies to shellfish (as key ingredients like glucosamine often come from shellfish).
Possible side effect
Bonhans tablets, a joint supplement for dogs, are generally safe but can cause mild stomach upset (vomiting, diarrhea) or increased thirst/urination, especially with overdose, with serious issues like liver problems reported in rare overdose cases.
Drug interaction

Missed dose
