Common use

Vidalista tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.

Dosage and direction

The general guidelines for taking Vidalista are:
Take Vidalista about 30-60 minutes before planned sexual activity.
Swallow the tablet with water or juice; do not crush, chew, or break it.
It can be taken with or without food, but taking it on an empty stomach may help it work faster.
Do not take more than one tablet within a 24-hour period.

Precautions

Liver Disease: People with existing liver conditions might find it difficult to process Vidalista, so doctors usually prescribe lower strengths.
Kidney Impairment: People with kidney problems need to be monitored to prevent further kidney damage. They are usually recommended low-strength doses in the beginning.
Vidalista tablets are not advised for women, and their effects on breastfeeding women have not been studied extensively.
Avoid grapefruit juice and alcohol consumption while taking Vidalista, as they can have adverse effects.

Contraindications

Vidalista tablet can be dangerous to take it along with medicines called nitrates (often given for chest pain). Do not take this medicine if you have severe heart or liver problems, if you have recently had a stroke or heart attack or if you have low blood pressure. Let your doctor know if you suffer from these or any other health problems before taking it.

Possible side effect

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them.

Drug interaction

Avoid taking medications for angina (nitrates), antibiotics (erythromycin), anticonvulsants (phenytoin), antifungals (ketoconazole) and medications for pulmonary hypertension (riociguat). These medications may alter the safety and effectiveness of Vidalista.

Missed dose

If you miss a dose of Vidalista, take it as soon as you remember. But, if the next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing regime.

Overdose

Overdose of Vidalista is capable of vision loss, changes in vision color, blurred vision, ringing in ears, an erection that lasts longer. These symptoms need to be managed as an emergency in a hospital setting. Therefore, strict adherence to the prescribed dose is essential.

Store at room temperature away from moisture, sunlight, kids and pets in a tight container.
